LiveBooth was an app I created for live event photographers and photo booths. I developed and maintained it for several years, but this year I committed full-time to Simple Booth and realized I can no longer continue working on it. Thank you to you everyone who downloaded and used the app. If you still need it, is is available on the App Store, but it is no longer actively being maintained. If you’re looking for world-class photo booth apps and hardware, I encourage you to check out!

Photo Stream Tips

For the latest Photo Stream information and support, please visit Apple’s website.

However, we will provide some fast, practical tips for you. Please confirm all technical details with Apple before relying on this information.

If your My Photo Stream is not syncing, check the following:

  1. Make sure your iPads and other devices that are using Photo Stream are on the same Wi-Fi network
  2. Make sure your iPads and other devices are set to the same iCloud account. On the iPad this is under Settings > iCloud.
  3. Open the Photos app on your iPad, go to Albums and then My Photo Stream. Opening My Photo Stream here can “hint” at it to start syncing photos. You should see them start to appear in the Photos app. If they appear there, they will be available to LiveBooth on that iPad.
  4. Close the Camera or Photos app and any other apps that are running
  5. Finally, try disconnecting and reconnecting to your Wi-Fi network.

Other tips:

  • Generally once you get My Photo Stream syncing it will run smoothly. Sometimes it takes some time at first to get started.
  •  Your iPad’s battery must remain above 10% to sync photos, otherwise Photo Stream will stop syncing. Don’t let this surprise you near the end of an event! Keep a charger on hand or backup iPad(s).
  • Photo Stream has a rolling limit of 1000 photos. Make sure to backup and clear previous photos prior to an event.
